是真的,今天是我參與娛樂百分百錄影的最後一天啦! I know i know, it's finally my last time here, right? Haha! 說到娛百啊, 它真是給了我許許多多即美好又難忘的回憶呢! 第一場就很幸運地得到Fiona的T-shirt, 跟親愛的蘇打綠玩遊戲(然後給朋友取笑), 參加Yoga的錄影時認識一位新同學, 翊頎與小豬共舞,還有今天!!! Wilbur在我們面前大跳性感舞... he was practically thrusting his lower body in Yiqi's face! >_< 嚇死都來不及, 哈哈! 然後, 小豬說的"我可以告你性騷擾哦"簡直太經典了!

為了參加錄影, <日本社會>我蹺了兩次, 結果錄影的時候卻一直擔心點名的事情=_= 可是! 當我開始哈哈哈不顧形象地大笑的瞬間, 我會覺得這是值得的(雖然依然懇求老師不要因兩次的缺課把握當掉)... 在新加坡的時候, 如果不出門, 準時收看娛百是每天的習慣, 可是如果覺得內容悶我還是會把電視關掉ok! XD

總之, 娛百是我在台灣交換期間不可或缺的一部分哦. 我不是小鬼的粉絲, 更不是小豬的粉絲 (不然我怎麼不會唱一支獨秀), 所以節目會讓我如此enjoy如此著迷, 連我也認為簡直是太利害了!

除了Wilbur, 還有曹格! Yiqi and I started commenting on Gary the moment he came out, from his hair to makeup to clothes! xD Anywaysssss. I took many unflattering shots of Wilbur, by the way, cos' he was standing right before me and the best angle I could manage was, of course, from bottom-up. OOOPS.

為了不讓自己因為是最後一次參與錄影而難過, 太陽逐漸下山的時候, 我到了五分埔和饒河夜市逛街去~ 每一次來到/聽到/路過/看到後山埤捷運站, 我都會不僅懷念第一次到台灣遊玩的情形 (:

I knew that the coffee's going to give me minor stomach discomfort, but I still finished 3/4 of it. The coffee's good! Mmmmhmmmm makes the slight cramps were worth it, if I say so myself.

Still Photography was our favourite module in Chengchi and I still remember how we almost didn't mange to get our hands on this uber popular module, if not for your allowance (to which some seniors protested, hohoho).

綠島摩托車日記

On the journey from 台北 to 台東 but we had no seats until 宜蘭. The initial plan was to sleep the 6 hour train ride away but alas, too bad for our last minute ticket purchase! :[ We went through one and a half hours of pure insecurity cos' we were positioned right beside the doors and have to siam whenever the train pulls over; don't be fooled by my smile.

Finallyyyy, proper seats! But I only managed to catch only 30 minutes of sleep :( :( :(

Caught the ferry to Green Island and from the very second the ferry moved, I knew that I was going to be UBER sea-sick :( 50 minutes of giddiness, feeling nauseous and ultimate discomfort. Thank goodness I didn't puke!

環島ing. 第一次坐摩托車!!! 0_0 The scooter was the main mode of transport during our stay here (with us in the backseat, of course). Vroom vroom. 陽光很烈, 風很大, 我的帽子一共飛走了三次 =_=

看到熟悉的背景嗎... 沒錯, we're back in GTV! Hohohohoho 我們一有空就會到娛樂百分百坐坐! We have no idea who the guests were nor the number of recordings today. But guess what! The guest was 小豬! Yiqi's favourite 小豬! Wheewhee lucky girl!

The 1st recording was 小豬's 粉絲同樂會~ Hmmmmm he played games with his fans! And and and and and, the highlight was during the 2nd half when a Q&A session was held- fans who know the answers (everyone knew!) will raise/wave/wriggle their hands frantically, hoping to catch the attention of the hosts and hence get the chance to have intimate contact with 小豬. GUESS WHATTTTT! Miss Yiqi was chosen by 小鬼! Oh my goodness gracious and 小豬 danced around her (sexily), even lifting her at one point and twirled her around! 我的媽呀! I was practically squealing in my seat, for I was so happy for her! :D :D :D 恭喜王小姐終於跟羅先生有親密互動了！　

Remember to catch this episodeeeeeeeee! Yiqi and I were on the left, first row, seated on the floor. (: Superb view, superb view!

It happened that 小豬 was the guest for the 2nd recording too! And so we continued sitting in our superb seats, hahahaha. Nothing exciting happened, besides a vvvv touching video which made me teared. :X (內心OS: 哭什麼哭，我又不是小豬的歌迷．．．)

There was a 3rd recording made open to fans today! WAH break record already! 3 recordings in a day! 0_0 是蕭敬騰的藝能發表會耶！Rocks socks I can finally watch and listen to him in person!

蕭敬騰's seriously a poker-faced joker. Hilarious! Absolutely hilarious. I'm extremely amused when he kept saying 不好意思 when the audience wow-ed at his drums+keyboard+guitar and magic showcase. Why, he should just smile and accept the cheers and applause, what. xD 靦腆的個性背後竟然藏著一把厚實，有爆發力的嗓子...相當有趣的對比!

今天我們到了位於忠孝東路的"卡滋"吃晚餐~ 阿貓和玉茹都很推薦這家的豬排飯! 啊啊啊我們八點才抵達, 肚子超餓的.

來了來了! 豬排多汁, 很嫩, 很讚! 哇哈哈, 原來豬排也可以這麼好吃! :D

因為味增湯, 白飯, 高麗菜還有咖哩醬都無限供應, 所以... 我們吃了兩碗飯, 喝了兩碗湯, 繼了很多咖哩醬, 我還吃了很多高麗菜! 套餐也附上飲料和甜品, 店家打烊時我們已快撐爆了! 哈哈哈, 不過豬排真的很讚, 配上四種醬料真的超好吃! \(^w^)/ 幸福ing.

I like assembling random pieces of paper into a book of pretty something. My final assignment for Still Photography was to come up with a family photo album. Since I'm away from home, it shall consist photos of/with the people I spend the most time with in Taiwan...

Art paper, photographs, glue, tape, scissors, markers and after-thought scribbles.

I took 4 hours; I like the way it turned out. :D Scrapbooking's fun, maybe it'll be my hobby when I'm 60.

古拉爵II

We visited Cafe Grazie again, this time at New York New York branch, for 美欣學姊's birthday dinner. Haven't seen her in a while and the things she say still makes me ponder; pretty amazing, I'll say. :D

I ordered pizza this time, it was huge! Three of us ordered a pizza each and we had this (0_0) expression when we were into our fourth/fifth slice-- pizzas are best eaten warm. But mine was pretty good, I like the huge chunks of squid! I seldom taste seafood here, yoo know, so sad right. :( :( :(

Anyway! It was a good dinner! However, we somehow agreed that the food at 羅斯福路 branch tasted better. Hmmmmmmmm maybe cos' it was my birthday then, hohoho. Oh wells but the clam chowder I had was yummy!

The Taiwanese convenience stores have a fantastic range of beverages! Teas, coffees, juices, milk, carbonated drinks, alcohol, etc., especially teas. They love tea! Since I claim to be almost-half-a-Taiwanese, I should drink more tea too. And yes, I do! Muahahaha. The above 'Concord & Muscat Tea' is one of my new favourites. :D If you're wondering what on earth are concord and muscat, they're (high class) grapes, simply said. 'Concord & Muscat Tea' sounds a hundred times better than 'Grape Tea', don't yoo think so? Oh there's grapefruit tea and it's equally good too, wheewhee.

這是我們和玉茹在交換期間的最後一頓晚餐, 她明天早上就要飛回香港了! 今天依然開心, 你請的冰淇淋很好吃...

宜蘭ing

I like rocks.

Windsurfing in action! Ahhh nice scenery here but all the beach activities-- volleyball, wind-surfing etc. is so not me.

I really should stop snapping photos of my feet. Anyway, check out the fine grey sand! :D Yiqi and I dapao-ed some back, hohoho. Oh, foreigners! Thank goodness we weren't caught for helping ourselves to sand and rocks, machiam buffet like that!

It was drizzling every now and then; we walked quite a distance but it's okay because like what I've said, I like rocks, mountains and the sea. Geography, geography!

Looks like chunks of dark chocolate/oreo floating in blueberry juice. xD

好喝! It tasted as good as it looked.

This was the place we settled on. NT250 for 50 minutes, reasonable!

I didn't have my swimming costume with me so I had a room to myself. Ehhhhhh this was my first official hotspring expeprience leh! My feet almost died (aka cooked) when it touched the water! 0_0 So I had to let out "cold water" which was actually warm. Was supposed to get out and rest every 10-15 minutes (otherwise yoo'll faint, haha) but think I was in the tub for too long.. cos I felt dizzy and then I had to rest every 5 minutes. =_________= I can't help but feel it was a waste of time during the rest (was reading Detective Conan). Oh wells, at least it's better than having strangers barging in to find me unconscious AND unclothed. No, no, no.

Nonetheless, I felt rejuvenated after the soak and our cheeks were so rosy! HEHE.

We had eggs cooked in hot spring water~ But the waiting time was 50 minutes, boohoo, we ended up taking photos and feeding mosquitoes during the wait.

Finally! Look, they're glowing too!

6 eggs but only 5 of us; we 猜拳 and Yuru got another egg! :D :D :D I suggested decorating the eggs and this was the final result, so cute right!

YAY orange-yellow egg yolk!!! Yum yum yum. I was told that Wulai's hotspring eggs taste better though, will try them when I get the chance!

Our last stop was 羅東夜市~ This could be my 10th plate of smelly bean curd in Taiwan...

BBQ muah-cheeeeeeeeeeeee. The texture's reminds me of toasted marshmellow. Nice!

Cabbed back to school from Yilan, saves time and hassle. It was amusing when Yuru (the most petite) had to hide when the vehicle approached the road-tax gantry- it's illegal to ferry 5 passengers. Even more amusing that the driver reminded Yuru every 10 minutes about how she should bend to get out of sight. Better be safe than to lose NT3000 bucks, we were told.

今天傍晚本想離開西門町的時候, 我看到捷運出口前圍觀的人很多... 嗯就好奇地向前看, 哇啊啊, 好可怕!!!! 西門町鬧鬼哦! 其實是某學校的宣傳活動啦... 可是我的天啊,乍看之下還真的超恐怖的! 而且這些'鬼'的眼神很霹靂, 你看, 照片里那位穿黑色旗袍的在瞪我耶! OwO 太~逼~真~了.不過受驚嚇之餘, 我還是鼓起勇氣拍了張照留念一下, 哈哈! 當場害怕晚上會做惡夢...

順便分享一下包裝可愛的零食~ 張君雅小妹妹!

她有點木訥又稍微不削的表情, 加上大鼻孔的樣子很搞笑吧! :8(

今天的收穫~~~~ 林宥嘉的專輯<神秘嘉賓>超級好聽的! 我真的真的很喜歡, 曲風豐富又新鮮, 而且歌曲都很耐聽~ 大家請支持一下!

Yuru's leaving this coming Wednesday (time fliesssss) so we had a farewell dinner for her at Jay Chou's restaurant, aptly named "Mr. J". :D

The decor's passable lah, the restaurant's not huge but has a rather pleasant atmosphere. And look, that's Betty Boop beside the entrance! So cute!

The restaurant serves French-Italian cuisine, I had pasta with smoked duck served in orange cream sauce. It was surprisingly good! Hohohoho. I chose the set dinner option, which comes with soup, salad, drink and dessert. This meal feels... complete. xD

So sweet of Gwen to create personalised collages for us! THANKS!

While waiting for 阿貓 to finish her dinner. The 4th photo of Gwen's head above the glass jar is hilarious! And we're tickling Jay's nose in the last, haha!

The night was still young; we decided to have a small drinking session near Taipei 101, hohoho!

In the end, Yuru was the only one who drank proper alcohol- she had beer!!! "你們不是說要喝酒的嗎? 怎麼只有我在喝?" Eh mine's vodka hor, don't play play... xD Anyway, alcohol's really cheap here! My 275ml vodka mix above costs only NT45 bucks! 愛喝酒的你, 快來台灣暢飲吧!

在八大電視台樓下排隊進場時, 我偶然發現原來今天有偶像劇<愛就宅一起>的記者會! 啊難怪人超多的, 害我擔心或許進不了攝影棚呢... 你看, 有大東和楊丞琳耶, 賺到啦! 哈哈.

林宥嘉才是今天的主角~~~ 這一集是粉絲同樂會, 跟上次蘇打綠那集一樣可以跟Yoga玩遊戲... 可是真抱歉, 我沒有勇氣也沒有剩餘的面子可以再丟了, 哇哈哈, 所以我只有羨幕的部分囉. 爆點是, 這回竟然又有人不會唱一支獨秀耶!!! 我的天我的天, 太巧了吧! 0_0 小豬似乎有點抓狂, 還懇求唱片公司以後打歌要打凶一點... =_=

今天只有一場開放參與, 在等電梯時我們看到戴愛玲從廁所出來! 嗯嗯拍了張合照, 她人很好哦! 之後搭電梯下樓發生了趣事, 通常前門關上後電梯酒會下去, 但是今天不知道為何電梯後邊的門突然會開, 我們看到休息室(原來長的這樣), 而小豬剛好走出來... 他看到我們這些不速之客當然很錯愣, 可是我(們)卻很不要臉地跟他揮手, 然而他繼續面無表情, 哈哈! 大概揮了8秒吧, 門才終於關上, 太有趣了!

我們大約四點抵達北教, 哇, 排隊的人可真不少... 在排隊的當兒, 我們跟两位可愛的蘇打迷聊天~ 朔和ponpon! 謝謝你們的逗趣和友善 xD 我還被他們認出是那位"上娛樂百分百然後不會唱一支獨秀"的歌迷, 哈哈我的天! 0_0 所以如果覺得淑慧這名字不容易記, 你可以直接叫我一支獨秀, 或者秀姐. :D :D :D

進場囉! 哦我們的view其實還不賴, 我踮一下腳就看得清楚, 真好! 表演時不能拍照, 雖然起初會認為有點可惜, 可是我終於明白為什麼會有這樣的規矩~~~~ 相機不在手上, 就沒有分心, 沒有多餘的牽掛, 就可以專注地欣賞演唱會啦! 結果這次的表演讚, 驚喜不斷, 而且情緒很駭, 曲目也很滿意, 歌迷也很熱情!

青峰說的話每次都能讓我刮目相看; 喜歡<愛人動物>和<蜘蛛天空>; 東方不敗/白髮魔女版的<頻率>新鮮多於詭異; 慧慈上台成為表演高潮, 看到大家舉起"蓮花指"隨著<何日君再來>搖擺, 超搖滾的! 喜歡清唱版的<小情歌>, 閉上眼睛仔細聆聽, 我頓時彷彿聽到世界上最美的旋律.

今晚笑到肺部微微痛, 不騙你, 但是一切都是值得的! 門票超級無敵便宜(才300元哦買軋), 可是演出水準卻遠遠超過票的價值, 真是一個用心真誠的樂團啊! 謝謝蘇打綠再次給我一整晚的美好回憶~ 我們新加坡演唱會上見! :]

五月天代言

最近傳出五月天不再做音樂, 改行退出樂團的新聞... 什麼跟什麼, 我一聽就知道不是真的, 肯定是什麼宣傳代言噱頭~ 哈哈哈結果給我說中了, 真聰明! 到了現場看到他們為保險公司代言; 現場很悶熱~ 五月天(終於)出現的時候我們更是汗流浹背呢=_=

嗯看得出他們都超累, 畢竟昨晚才剛辦完香港的演唱會. 沒有表演, 只播放廣告說說話玩玩遊戲蓋章擺pose, 記者會嘛... 不過總之可以再看到五月天我已經很開心啦!

很宅女

這幾天很'宅'; 台北老是下雨, 然後下個星期又有期末考.... 因為宅女不喜歡出遠門, 所以買東西也不想跑太遠(對啦我又宅又懶=_=), 我碰巧在學校側門的7-11發現剛新出的涼麵~ 哇, 味道很不錯! 我試過的日式喬麥涼麵跟韓式泡菜涼麵都很讚哦, 而且一份才45元... 哇哈哈7-11要給我多少代言費啊?

生日已經過了一個月多, 所以完全毫無頭緒是誰寄的. 一打開盒子, 看到卡片, 啊啊啊~很很很感動! 超久沒有看到這位朋友了, 可是她還是關心我ㄟ, 友誼的力量真偉大!!! 謝謝Chewy的漂亮心意^^

今天也很宅... 星期一有期末考啊! 嗯, 邊吃便當邊看超級星光大道--黃靖倫加油! xD 期待明天ing~ 因為本人明天會破個人的一個小小紀錄, 哈哈!

天氣很熱, 站著沒事也猛冒汗, 我幾乎溶化, 很擔心(又)會被曬黑.
活動只遲了10分鐘開始, 相當準時哦. 唱了<神秘嘉賓>, 挑戰了三項蠻有趣的體能考驗, 接下來就是簽名的部分啦... 上台時當然會有些小興奮, 哈哈!

期待<神秘嘉賓>的發行! 林宥嘉是近期里我最最最欣賞的聲音, 希望唱片公司會好好發掘以及栽培這位很有潛力的歌手~

張懸@The Wall

今天去聽張懸唱歌. 這次的氣氛跟上次我在新加坡看到的很不一樣, 因為有了樂團的伴奏真的讓整場表演很加分!

很喜歡<嫁禍進行式>還有<討人厭的字>. 她也唱了<無輿論比的美麗>, 完全呈現另外一種feel~ 好聽! 她聲音很舒服, 可以磁性也可以很爆發; 讓我聯想起同是創作歌手的陳綺貞 (雖然兩位走的路線不同), 她們自彈自唱時很有魅力啊, 可是張懸的嗓子比Cheer好啦 xD. 她總是可以很自然地說出一些感性又有哲理的東西, 簡單的句子卻表達了千言萬語...真叫人回味.

Anyway, 張懸你很讚哦哦哦有空要常來新加坡!

番外篇: 今晚吸進了大量的二手煙... 我已經儘量小口小口地呼吸了可是我的肺應該還是受傷了吧, 唉唉唉.

The Bucket List

Caught 'The Bucket List' with Yiqi today at a second run movie theatre near NCCU. It was fantastic, utterly fantastic. 5 stars! I sobbed so much that I could barely breathe (too much mucus, yoo see, haha), especially when Morgan Freeman's character died. :'( :'( :'(

If yoo could, would yoo want to know the date of your death?

I think I wouldn't, but making a bucket list would be good.

The theatre looks like this: nothing fanciful, a basic screen and seats which could do with some cleaning. Haha! Caught 'Penelope' too and it was rather cute... the plot was only okay though, cos' the curse was broken too easily, no oomph lah!

At only NT90 bucks (approximately S$4.50) per movie, I'll definitely be back! xD

從台中到鹿港: Day 3

今天決定離開台中, 到鹿港玩, 因為順便嘛~ 嗯...天氣超級無敵熱, 然後太陽公公又很烈, 我的天啊, 想必我們不會拍太多自己入鏡的照片~ 汗流浹背, 整身粘粘 , 真的會影響遊玩的情緒呢.

在天后宮旁的街好熱鬧! 看到很多店家在售賣oyster related products... 應該是鹿港的must try之一吧! 我點了鮮蠔炒飯, 還有一半的蠔煎: oyster overload! 0_0 不過不過不過, 這是我們在台灣吃過最好吃的蠔煎!!! 除了很不錯的酱汁, 蠔也超大一顆的!

你看~~~真的很大吧! 是大到那種一咬下去就會high的哦, 哈哈!

彰化的名產之一: 牛舌餅; 我喜歡拍廚師在製作食物的照片~

因為它們長長扁扁的, 很像牛的舌頭. 我買了原味和芋頭口味! 對, 只買了淒涼的兩片, 哇哈哈. 這個東西若一直收到回新加坡的時候, 肯定會發霉的.

鹿港有很多古蹟還有舊式的磚塊房屋, 我喜歡磚塊建築的feel!

都說超熱的, 所以就到博物館遊覽, 希望可以吹冷氣! 哈哈. 光看博物館的外側就會令人期待裡面的內容和東東...

很喜歡很喜歡很喜歡這裡的展覽. 我不太知道應該怎麼去解釋我的喜歡, 總之內容就是很豐富! 哦在collage正中央的照片啊, 它是佈置得類似洞方的房間! 哈哈還有一對假人新郎新娘, 起初覺得有趣,可是看久了卻認為蠻可怕的...

我.有.拍.腳.癖

這算是我們在今天最後一個拜訪的古蹟吧. 摸乳巷! 沒錯, 這條巷子真的叫摸乳巷! 很好笑又情色吧! 在地圖上看到這個名稱時, 我就下定決心一定要來看看...

摸乳巷很窄, 一般上這巷子的寬度每次只能容納一個人, 不可以兩個人肩並肩一起走, 不然就很擠囉... 想overtake也不行, well, 除非你想不小心摸到不應該摸到的東西/人/部位.... 明瞭不明瞭?

我帶頭走這條巷子的時候 (在我後頭有大約15人吧), 超擔心突然會有人從對面走來, 哈哈!

從鹿港到台中, 從台中到台北.

番外篇:
到了台北車站後, 本來打算搭公車回到政大, 可是因為很累, 加上找不到公車站 (每次都有這個問題...)所以就決定搭計程車... 本以為很幸運地坐了一輛裝有電視的車子, 但是萬萬沒有想到司機先生竟然猛繞路! >_< 一發現到他沒有走高速公路我就開始坐立不安, 感覺好像會被騙... 結果真的, 車費最後高達325元, 我們上回走高速公路才不到180元! :( :( :( 我問司機為什麼這麼貴, 他說走高速公路應該也差不多這個價錢, 我說不是, 他接著說他不會走高速公路.... 我的天! 他車上明明就裝有navigation system啊 (真的是一輛高科技的計程車-_-), 然後我也不相信會繞小路的司機不會走高速公路...

結果勒, 也沒有什麼, 我們還是照樣付了錢, 可是是很不請願的. 事後把事情告訴我媽, 她說我們應該凶點, 可是當時我們真的蠻累的, 然後也不想大鬧一場啊. 唉, 下回會告訴司機路程要越快越好... 雖然這是廢話, 有誰希望走遠路...

回到地球表面: Day 2

我們今天起得大早, 享用簡單的飯店早餐後, 我們就搭公車前往體育館! 可是演唱會不是傍晚7點30分才開始嗎... 對啦我們不是擺烏龍, 我們是想拿號碼牌啦~ 這樣我們的看台區位子也不會太爛! 我最害怕看演唱會時什麼都看不到...

十點發號碼牌, 我們大約也在這個時間抵達, 但是...人怎麼那麼多?! 哇哇哇, 人龍長到延伸至門外 -_-||| 對了, 我們在公車上遇到一位同樣買了D區票的歌迷, 她說有很多歌迷都是漏夜排隊的... Yiqi說, 如果我們也漏夜排隊的話, 就可以省下一晚住宿飯店的錢囉, 哈哈!

拿到號碼牌, 我們有大約5個小時的時間可以消耗~ 到了台中公園拍照... I like bridges!

之後到了一中商圈逛街! 雖然沒有比逢甲夜市好逛 (天氣太熱了, 什麼shopping興致都沒有了), 不過我們的戰利品也不少, 嘿嘿. 台中, 我好愛你哦!

接著我們就乖乖地回到體育場排隊... 啊為什麼需要這麼早就整理排隊的秩序? 超級曬的說, 我邊撐傘邊看漫畫, 興奮的感覺都給太陽蒸發掉啦.

終-於-進-場-囉! 哦哦哦哦, 這是我第一場戶外售票演唱會! xD 藍色螢光棒一亮起, 我就已經準備迎接五月天, 準備回到地球表面!

嗯, 該怎麼形容演唱會有多讚呢? 雖然看台區離舞台有一段距離, 可是五月天的音樂卻離我很近, 近到我的心也聽得到. 我是不是變得成熟了? 覺得只要喜歡他們的音樂, 然後被歌曲打動就好, 不用計較離他們有多近/遠. 話雖如此, 可是當成員一一從舞台走到我們區前的延伸舞台時, 興奮的細胞頓時在我體內引爆和急促循環... 哈哈哈. 延伸舞台的idea真的很棒!

演唱會的曲目我幾乎都會唱; 我來台灣之後就沒有聽五月天的cd, 可是五月天的歌我還記得. 很妙. 耳熟能詳的旋律, 一大片藍色的螢光海, 三萬人的聲音, 五位熱愛音樂的大男生. 憨人, 擁抱, 愛情的模樣, 倔強, 洋蔥(!!!) 很感動. 香水, 愛情萬歲, 雌雄同體, 抓狂, 扎車很駭. 小護士, 戀愛ing很逗趣. 對, 這就是我欣賞的五月天, 我找回當初的那份感動了.

演唱會在11點左右結束, 可是我們都不肯離開, 我們喊了各種各樣的東西, "十二點! 十二點!", "五月天, 五月天", "encore, encore"... 果然, 五月天又出現了! 我的天, 簡直難以置信... 反而, 人生海海, 新歌出頭天... 哇, 爽爆了. 真的好想他們能夠一直表演下去, 我不想聽到"再見, 我們2009年見".

阿信說我們是瘋子. 如果他說的沒錯, 那麼我將會是一個很快樂的瘋子.

從台北到台中: Day 1

出發囉. 我們跟兩位住在台中的同學一起搭客運前往目的地, 謝謝你們的指導和幫忙... 路程比我想像的還短, very good! 台中, 我們來了!

第一站: 藝術街

我很喜歡這種old school 的店舖! 看到七彩繽, 紛玲郎滿目的玩具和糖果, 整個人都開心了起來. 裡頭的擺設與佈置也應該花了不少心思吧~ 我搜購了一些包裝可愛精緻的糖果, 嘿嘿. 開心!

整條藝術街都能看到像這樣的店家, 裡頭售賣的多數是手工藝術品 (不然為何叫藝術街), 還有cafes. 當天的太陽很曬, 所以沒有興致喝茶聊天, 於是我們再逛一下就走了, 反正想體驗藝術氣息也不需要逗留太久, 哈哈.

我們的飲料包裝跟後面的草原搭配得不賴吧! 嗯... 我的無糖綠茶很健康, 不過下次沒事就不會喝啦, hoho!

下一站: 東海大學. 來到這裡就好像回到新加坡, 因為這裡到處都是草和樹! 哈哈哈, 不過還是很漂亮很漂亮很漂亮~

覺得這裡的建築蠻日式, 有沒有?

來到校園某教堂前的草地, 唉... 好想躺下去! 結果我們還真的趴在草地上, 還有拿起書本 (名偵探柯南是也!)拍起照來. 很有美感, 對不對! xD

草地果然住著很多怪東西, 因為我之後覺得手腳稍微養養的... 嗚, 不過看到照片的瞬間, 我會認為這小小的犧牲值得的! 然後我上衣的顏色又跟草地很blend... 哈哈!

今天的最後一站是逢甲夜市~ 因為逢甲離東海相當遠, 所以就搭了計程車. 哇, 好期待! 上回跟家人到這逛街後, 我已愛上逢甲了; 如今回到這邊, 它長得怎樣, 路該怎麼走, 我還記得! 我的記憶力真的太神奇了.
逢甲的確沒令我們失望, 服飾的價錢都很公道, 因此我們收穫可真不少呢~ 如果逢甲在台北那該有多好!

這是我們的房間! 啊, 我有一個有關飯店名字的醜事要和大家分享! 我們的飯店叫<鼎壹飯店>, 看慣簡體字的我把'壹'(一)看成'臺'(台), 想當然地我也會把飯店名字念錯/抄錯. 所以勒, 難怪計程車司機會懷疑<鼎臺飯店>的存在, 他說他沒有聽過這個名字, 因為根本沒有這個飯店啊. 幸好我們碰到的是一位好司機, 他打了電話到飯店後才領悟到我們口中的<鼎臺飯店>其實是<鼎壹飯店>. 天啊, 這也太白痴了吧! =__= 結果我就邊大笑邊臉紅邊解釋我不是台灣人... 因為找不到飯店而小繞了一下, 所以司機先生還給我們打了30元的折扣... 哇, 人也太好了吧! 是我的錯才對... 字體長得好像!

飯店很舒適, 很乾淨, 我睡得超好. :D 明天即將回到地球表面!

來自新加坡的愛

Waisan and Jing said I'm supposed to receive something, but... no? I went to the office to check and goodness gracious, this is THE biggest parcel I've ever received during my stay in Taipei! 0_0 我的天! 看到時, 簡直認為自己是在作夢! How come postage's so expensive?! 21 bucks! Ohmyohmyohmy I feel so loved. So I happily carried it back to my room and this is what I saw when I opened the box:

A card, a kinky something (HAHA, i like it! xD), biscuits, Mayday newspaper article (heehee) and....

Instant noodles! HOHOHO. At first I thought they were being pure random, but then i realised they were of (Singaporean) flavours which i don't see here! Laksa (!!!), tom yum, black pepper crab, wahwahwah! THANK YOU Jing, Waisan, Chermaine and Ruyan! I is very 感動! @_@ Thank you!

謝謝你們從新加坡寄來的滿箱愛心~ 真的超級無敵感動和開心的說．．．雖然很想念大家，　不過我很快就會看到你們了! :]

Mini CS gathering in Taipei

I met up with a couple of CS peeps who came to Taiwan for a holiday! Wheewheewhee, it was like a mini CS gathering, and I finally heard some Singlish, hoho. It felt as if we're having dinner in a random restaurant in Singapaore, save for the Chinese menu and raised eyebrows when Singlish is spoken. Awwwwww.

I miss my family, friends and school, but I'm fond of Chengchi too. Can't wait to return to sunny island; can't bear to leave lovely Taiwan... Sigh. How how how?!

Anyway, am glad that the girls had a fantastic time in Taiwan! Spread the love! :D

蘇打綠 <陪我歌唱> 簽唱會

今天出席了蘇打綠的簽唱會, 這是我來台灣三個月里的第一場簽唱會! 期待~

超曬的, 你看撐傘的人數就知道有多曬. 因為沒有涂放曬乳, 所以只能靠雨傘囉, 雖然不是十全十美但總比沒有得好; 我今天差點變燒傷.

彩排ing. 青峰走入人群! "沒關係, 他們都很溫馴..."

表演終於開始了! 今天最期待的就是觀賞蘇打綠的表演~ <陪我歌唱>超級無敵好聽, 如果這首歌一直在我耳邊播放一天, 甚至一個星期, 我想我也不會介意. 對, 真的有這麼的好聽.

恭喜專輯大賣~! ^^ 真誠的音樂我們都聽得到.

今天期待的除了演出的部分, 還有上台跟六位團員打招呼, 聊天... 阿福竟然認得我! 啊, 當時眼淚幾乎掉下來... 哈哈騙你的, 不過開心和感動是真的. 看到蘇打綠就在眼前, 有種離奇的感覺. 就好像, 平時只在台下專注地看他們表演, 而一次又一次地被感動的瞬間好想衝上台大喊蘇打綠有多棒, 青峰的歌聲沒有一次不滲透我的心, 彈樂器時的投入令我著迷之類的東西... 可是當他們與我距離很近時, 我卻把心底的話吞到肚子裡去, 結果就跟他們哈拉一下, 握個手, 誠懇地微笑, 說再見, 然後就沒了. 或許我對他們支持和喜愛是不必說出來的; 或許他們都可以感受得到?

一打開電腦, 發現原來今天是林宥嘉首張專輯預購的開賣會! 哦哦哦, 阿信也有活動, 可是是T-shirt的簽名會, 所以, 還是去捧林宥嘉的場好了, 比起設計, 我比較會欣賞音樂這方面啦, 哈哈.

這是我的號碼牌, 嗯, 雖然到場的人比我預計的少, 可是人龍還是超長的...

主角到了啦, 但是根本沒有機會好好地看林宥嘉, 因為我排在後面, 然後歌迷又一直上前拍照, 冷靜的我就默默地呆在原地聽他接受訪問 (雖然也沒聽到什麼). 之後各位就依號碼排的順序讓Yoga在卡上蓋章... 他眼睛超大的說, 不過還是輸給梁靜茹的, 哈哈!

因為之後沒有節目, 我就等活動結束再離開... 我還跟一位可愛的日本游學生聊天! 其實談話內容沒有很豐富; 她只會基本的國語和英文, 我的日文也不ok, 甚至比她的中文爛, 結果我們就雞同鴨講囉, 偶爾也比手畫腳傳達意思~

蓋章會結束後, 林宥嘉離場後, 本來想到唱片行逛一下, 怎知卻看到歌迷猛把貼在牆上的海報撕下來...我的天, 場面還蠻好笑的! 我當然也想要啦,可是冷靜的我決定冷靜地等待店員把室內的海報拿下後再去跟他們拿... 哇, 簡直是即冷靜又聰明, 嘿嘿嘿.

你看, 出席活動卻都沒有拍到Yoga, 真的太離奇了! Anywayyy, 期待專輯, 期待好聲音~ :]

We made our way to GTV again this afternoon for another round of 娛樂百分百 recording! My main aim was to catch sodagreen in action (recording's at 2pm), but we went earlier to kpoh who the artiste was/were for the earliest recording at 12pm. Oh my oh my, see who we spotted at the entrance while queuing!

Fish Leong 梁靜茹! Her eyes are huge. 0_0

When we stepped into the TV studio, a brand new set of background greeted us! Wheewheewhee, it feels like a space ship; the basketball machine was gone though. By the way, we were on the left side, first row!

Fish was on the show to promote her concert and what's there for her to do if she doesn't sing, right? She sang uber nicely! :D 梁靜茹, 你唱歌真的很好聽~

Fish Leong's episode ended and sodagreen, here we come! HOHOHO! But before that, we passed 青峰 something Gwen (and us) painstakingly decorated while we were waiting to enter the TV studio. xD His expression was milder than we hoped but still... 希望他會認同我們的幽默! Here's the conversation between us:

青峰: 哦好... ㄟ廁所在哪邊? [he walked in the wrong direction)

淑慧: (as he was walking away) 要看, 要看!

青峰: 什麼? 你要看我上廁所?!

HAHA!

Anyway! Since we went for Fish Leong's recording, we didn't manage to get good seats for sodagreen's recording-- we were seated in front of the cameras, not at the 2 sides, so no, yoo cannot spot us on TV this time. :X The staff didn't pass us the posters (which i wanted) as well because the camera couldn't capture us! Boohooohooo.

Here comes the highlightttttttttt. One female 工作人員 said they needed 2 fans to go onstage to play a game with sodagreen and asked for... 2 brave souls. Hahaha! I was really tempted but apprehensive at the same time... I was struggling with my decision! Then i turned to Gwen and Yiqi, who gave encouragement and kept edging me to take up this rare oppotunity. "去啦, 很難得! 淑慧, 去啦!"

SO. I raised my hand and told the staff "我要玩遊戲", but not before asking what game was it. She said I just needed to hum songs while sodagreen will guess, with a sweet in my mouth. Sounds easy and seemed unlikely that I'll embarrass myself, so why not! :D

My game segment was towards the end, after sodagreen's performance. :D Le sigh, 青峰's voice is still fantastic and melt-worthy. Am so looking forward to their 校園巡迴演唱會 in June! 蘇打綠版的<我只在乎你>很催淚~

Finally, the moment I've been wating for... 2 fans, myself (in GREEN) and another Taiwanese fan (wearing a black jacket, forth from left), went up! I was so, so, SO nervous. 從來沒有想過會有機會跟自己超喜歡的藝人在娛樂百分百上玩遊戲!

sodagreen was split into 2 groups and I joined 馨儀, 家凱 and 阿福! AND I had to hum with coke in my mouth, not a sweet! 0_0 0_0 Okayyyyyy, so be it, 哈哈! 小豬說我先玩, 於是我就站出來... 可是不知道要站在哪裡, 所以我就問他囉. 怎知道小豬就把手放在我肩膀上, 把我推向前, 後, 左, 右... 到底在干嘛阿, 我心里想, orz. 他說他要找冷氣吹風出口的位置, 把我擺在下面... -_- 他的人真的很'好'勒, 哈哈, 幸好我蠻喜歡冷的!

因此... 玉茹就偷拍了這張很讚的照片! 謝謝謝謝謝謝! ^_^ Who cares if I look tak glam, cos this photo alone has made me the number one enemy among most females. xD 盡情地羨慕吧, 各位!

When he's finally done pushing me around (I'm machiam like a block of wood) , he said something like this: "她是我的baby, 你們不能碰我的baby!" 哇哈哈, 本來有點害羞, 因為我是小豬的baby! >_< 可是不能想太多, 因為這句話其實是個笑話啦... 最近有看台灣綜藝節目的朋友應該知道! 嘿嘿, 我有聽到馨儀他們(就是我的隊友, 哈哈)在討論說不知道我有沒有上網看... 有, 我有!

主持人幫我倒了一杯可樂, 我接過杯子就喝了兩口, 口渴啊! 結果給他們看到... "喂你不要一直喝啦, 有那麼渴嗎?" 我沒說什麼, 就只在那邊笑, 而笑, 又不可以大笑, 因為我嘴里有可樂! 小豬似乎很害怕我會把可樂噴出來, 他開玩笑地用閩南語警告我: "你噴出來你就死給我看!"

開始囉! 終於要開始哼歌了, 第一首是<小宇宙>, 這個ok, 阿福很快就猜對了! 接著看板上印的是<一枝独秀>, 歌名很熟悉, 可是我腦海里卻沒有浮出任何旋律, 所以我就大聲地說"不會!"

怎麼知道, 全場因為我的一個'不會'而轟動了起來~ 啊...是小豬的歌! 我的天啊, 大家都在笑, 而小豬立刻拿了觀眾的包包假裝要離開攝影棚! 0_0 小鬼接著就說我慘了, 叫我快跑... 哈哈當時真的超級尷尬, 覺得好笑又認為有點對不起小豬. 我趕快去打聽<一枝独秀>怎麼唱, 哦, 這首我知道啦, 就'愛, 愛, 愛...',可是就不知道它叫<一枝独秀>, 我這麼跟小豬說. 他看起來有點難過地回答: "那你唱那部份就好囉, 看, 在那麼多人面前害我多丟臉!" 我有點不好意思地邊拍小豬的右手臂, 邊說"不好意思啦, 對不起..." 哈哈哈不過真的很好笑! Yiqi 之後說她以為我在開玩笑, 想耍小豬... 拜託, 我哪裡敢~~~~ 總之, 小豬你不要難過啦, 你在新加坡很紅!!!

然後就繼續哼... 什麼<王昭君>, 我隨便哼了一下, 可是主持人說'是這樣哼的嗎?', 沒辦法, 我就投降: '不會!'. 小鬼接著說, 哦對, 她是新加坡來的啦! 其實這句話, 在玩遊戲的時候小鬼說了至少兩次吧... which made me wonder, how did he know! 是看到我們稍微寒酸的'Singapore ♥ sodagreen' 板子嗎? 還是聽到我告訴馨儀我是新加坡的歌迷?

Anyway, anyway! 在哼<背叛>的時候, 小鬼突然說我的哼法不正確... 哼的時候必須用喉嚨, 然後可樂跟喉嚨接觸後會有他所謂'刺刺的感覺'... 哈哈神經病! 很難! 因為杯里的可樂喝完了, 所以我就從桌上拿了可樂瓶子, 自己倒可樂囉. 我還以為這樣的舉動很ok, 沒有問題, 怎麼知道! 又給小豬和小鬼訓!

"你以為這是你的家啊, 要喝就喝... 還自己拿來倒耶!" Blah blah blah, 他們就你一句我一句地一直說... orz! 應該感到很慚愧, 對不對, 但是我卻笑翻了, 還笑到彎腰! 他們教訓我的時候啊, 頭很靠近我, 尤其是小豬的, 就很好笑啊! 甚至還有一種暈眩的感覺呢, 因為太不可思議了! 然後我哼歌的時候也是小豬幫我拿麥克風, 有一次哼的時候我就看著小豬哼, 我也不曉得為什麼會看他, 反正哼了幾秒後他就問我問什麼要看著他?! 哇哈哈!

小豬: 為什麼你要彎著腰哼?

我: 因為你把麥克風拿得太低啊!

小豬: 那我麥克風拿高一點不就好囉!

最後... 比賽的結果是4比3, 我輸啦! 早知道我就直接把歌詞唱出來嘛, 乖乖地遵守規則結果哼得拿麼辛苦! :[ 本來輸的人要懲罰彈額頭, 可是over-run, 沒有懲罰! 嗯嗯嗯輸了有點小失望, 所以當小豬說既然我輸了就回位子吧, 我就有點發牢騷地說:"沒有獎品..." 然後! 小豬又開始訓我了, 哈哈我的媽丫! "你輸了還要獎品? 蛤, 蛤 ? 快回去, 台北新加坡來回機票自己付!"

=_____________________= 想死, 簡直就想死! 這麼沒有骨氣的話竟然給他大聲說出來! 最後我嘟著嘴懶散地走掉... Yiqi和Gwen說小豬有模仿我失望的樣子耶! HAHAHA 我超級想看的, 希望編輯室不要剪掉~

就這樣囉, 報告完畢, 希望沒有漏掉東西... 至於休息當兒跟阿福和馨儀說了什麼, 就讓它成為一個即美好又神秘的回憶吧, 嘿嘿.

今天真的超興奮, 超幸運, 超難得的說! ^___^ 謝謝Gwen和Yiqi的慫恿與鼓勵! 可以跟非常非喜愛的蘇打綠玩遊戲; 跟小豬和小鬼有很多互動... goodness gracious, 這應該是我在台灣最最最難忘, 最美好的一天吧~♥♥♥

台灣博物館

We decided to slack our Saturday away doing something which requires minimal travelling; we went separate ways and I ended up at 台灣博物館! Before I reached the musuem, the above was what I saw... a peaceful protest? I think it was at least 600m longgg! Being the kpoh, I asked the middle-age lady beside me and found out that it was a Falungong related march. Hmmmmmm. What caught me by surprise was, she then fished out articles from Falungong and Christian sources and shared her worries with me: how the world's in a crisis, how she hoped whatever predictions she read won't come true, blah blah blah. I gave her my fullest attention at first but the heat had me hoping that she would stop and let me proceed to the musuem, haha! Anyway, she was still nice, maybe a lil' paranoid but but but, nothing ugly happened. (: Thanks for the directions and may the propecies not come true!

Tadah, the humongous musuem~ I had only an hour before the musuem closed, so I merely browsed through the exhibits most of the time, sadly. :S Luckily, the admission fee was uber affordable (NT10, SGD$0.50); I'd prolly come again!

鐵路插曲

從桃園火車站搭乘鐵路回到台北的路上, 我和一位弟弟和妹妹聊天.

我坐在小女孩的左手邊, 小男孩就在她旁邊, 我還沒坐下來我就聽到他們在玩數字遊戲. 嗯, 不知道算不算是遊戲啦, 因為只是把一大串的數字唸出, 然後讓對方接, 就這麼簡單.

"190, 191, 192, 193, 194, 195, 196, 197, 198, 199, 200! 到你!" 我忍不住抬頭對這兩位可愛的小朋友微笑, ㄚ, 他們害羞地迴避我眼神~

"... 210, 211, 212, 213,214... 22o!" "你都沒有好好唸!" 小男孩嘟了嘟嘴. "我有啊... 不信你問問她啊..." 小女孩指著我說.

我有些驚訝, 又覺得有點好笑, 我笑說: "可是我沒有在聽, 我在看漫畫!"

小男生這時對我手中的<名偵探柯南>起了興趣, 他說他也要看, 和小女孩換位後, 他就坐在我身邊. 這本再普通不過的漫畫, 便成為我們交談的起點. 起初他安靜地跟看漫畫; 我把漫畫稍微移到我右邊, 也把它放到較低位置...因為這樣我們才可以一起看啊.

他說他看過柯南, 我以為只是隨便說說的, 怎知他還真的曉得人物的名字. 我半開玩笑地說, 柯南有很多殺人的東西, 你還小就少看吧; 他說沒關係, 他看的是電視版, 比漫畫更可怕.

接著我們就你來我往地聊天. "老師沒有說不要隨便跟陌生人說話嗎?" 我對他們的熱情感到好奇.

'有啊, 可是人多的時候不要緊, 然後樣子看起來不太...'

"邪惡, 壞," 我幫忙補充. '對, 不像壞人就好."

小男孩九歲, 隔壁的是他的表妹, 他跟奶奶到內壢去接下課的表弟妹, 他們在萬華站下車.我有點不好意思地說我21歲, 跟他們的年齡還差蠻多... "21歲跟9歲差多少?" 12歲, 他眨了眨, 好像知道我有多老了, 唉.

"你在哪裡下車?" '台北車站.' "給我看你的車票...證據!" 我乖乖地把綠色的車票交給他, 怎知他竟然問我為什麼我的票價比較便宜, 哈哈! 因為距離不一樣啊... 之後他們繼續跟我聊了蠻多, 因為小女生蠻害羞, 所以我跟小男生聊比較多. 他喜歡恐龍, 他曾經轉校, 他羨慕我今天沒有課, 他問我每天有幾篇功課要寫, 他分享了他喜歡的卡通, 雖然知道我都沒有聽過應該蠻掃興, 不過他的雀躍并沒有減少.

一路上, 車廂內只有我們的聲音, 我知道大家都在聆聽我們的對話, 他們會不會懷疑這個大姊姊有不良企圖? :D 應該不會吧, 因為我有好人臉! 嘿嘿.

萬華站到了, 他們跟奶奶準備下車. 揮手I, 揮手II, 拜拜!下車後, 小男孩再次跟我揮手, '再見!' 他奶奶也給了我一個微笑. 火車開走, 我又回到柯南的推理世界.

看似平凡的一個微笑竟然能夠帶來這樣漂亮的插曲. 突然想起我沒問他們叫什麼名字, 也沒說我不是台灣人. 但不重要啦, 重點是我們都聊得很開心!

改次到到萬華一帶時, 我會睜大眼睛觀察四周, 看有沒有熟悉的面孔, 還有仔細聆聽是否有熟悉的聲音出現在耳邊. 到時, 你們還會不會認得我?

We decided to venture out of Taipei today and headed to Taoyuan's 大溪 province for some quaint, old-school charm. 大溪老街 was our first stop and we were disappointed initially when we alighted-- all we saw were empty, lifeless streets which half the shops were closed. Fortunately, the real 老街 was just a short distance away.

Lo and behold, we knew we're at the right destination once we spotted Baroque style architecture! :D According to the complimentary travel guide I picked up, they were built in the Japanese Colonial period.

I think they're very much lovely; something like the East-meets-West kind of fusion.

Had a bowl of 大湯圓 for lunch, which is actually similar to the glutinous rice balls back home, just that this holds savoury instead of sweet filling. Mushrooms, pork, dried shrimp, it was pretty good.

Asked for directions to various recreational farms and we had to cross this 大溪 bridge firsttt.

I have a thing for bridges (and trains).

If I'm not wrong, this is where 大溪 got its name from: huge stream, literally. Or is it a meander? Hohohoho maybe i can send all these landform photos to my Geography teacher!

It was all bright and sunny that I could barely open my eyes. -w-

After getting at least a shade darker while crossing the bridge, we saw a huge field of flowers, with the windmill standing so prettily in a sea of green. I had this feeling that things were soon going to turn enjoyable!

Eh?! 原來 this was one of the shooting locations for Taiwanese idol-drama 微笑Pasta! 0_0 Both Yiqi and I didn't catch it hence we were far from excited, haha!

We bought our teas and settled into one of these welcoming chairs, nua-ing the warm afternoon away.

I told Yiqi that the blue and white really stood out from all the greenery!

If only we could sip teas all day long.

I haven't sat on a swing in ages but too bad the wood was too hard for my bum (Yiqi disagreed though), haha! I think I was clicking my tongue.

We then headed back to 大溪老街 in the evening, after a long round of photo-takinggg.

Yiqi and I spotted cute vintage figurines and oriental posters in a candy shop! We snapped and left without making any purchase, heh.

古早味豆花~ Tau-huay in black sugar syrup, served with peanuts, red beans and chewy tapioca balls.

Last but not least, we made off with 大溪's local produce: packets of marinated and ready-to-eat beancurd strips. I hope they taste good because strangely, no samples were provided. "不用試吃的啦..." the staff said.

Took a bus back to 桃園 and while shopping around, I spotted a commercial featuring sodagreen!

"Eh can you come over now, I just saw some travel brochure and Gwen's back."
"Okay, but i go pee first."

After which, I went over to their room, knocked on the door and turned the knob. It was locked, strangely. I waited until I heard the door unlock; I peeked in and the room was pitch black!

"Eh....?"

"Haaaaappy Birthdayyyy to you..." they started singing and the best part was, they were taking photos of me- flashes and flashes of light went off and I didn't know what to do nor where to look.
So i just kept laughing and tried to get away from their cameras! I think the whole 偷拍 segment lasted for... 1 minute?! HOHO.

Anyway, 謝謝你們的驚喜啦! 真的讓我很驚... 哇哈哈

On THE big day, we went to the zoo! Heh it was near our school and admission tickets (NT30= $1.50!) were cheap, so why not?

We popped into this butterfly garden park thingy where... butterflies fly around freely, duh. I remember that back in Singapore, I skipped this because flying butterflies scare me, haha! Hmmm. But I got braver in Taipei! Well well well, am still not comfortable having them all over me but I think it's a good start! Gwen and I were siam-ing butterflies which came, erm, fluttering in our direction. =_=

Bytheway, Yiqi was soooo not afraid of the flying insects and they probably sensed that too, because the butterflies stopped and landed on her leg at least 3 times? 0_0 I was saying that if they did the same to me, I would probably shriek and shake my leg/hand violently until they detached. Hoho!

"I am not afraid, smile, I am not afraid..."

Saw this old-school water pump and we took turns playing with it. "Help me take candid photos leh," we requested one another.

The weather was all sunny and warm; lovely flowers glistening in bright sunlight.

Our next stop was a trip to the nocturnal animals exhibit but my photos turned out gross, my photos were too dark! Bahhhhh. Many animals were in hiding, apparently, and we had to look at the pictures on the board to know how on earth those animals looked like. It was rather amusing at first but then I went into the 'oh no, not again?' mood as time passed. Heh heh maybe it's time to import more animals!

We realised the zoo closes at 5pm only when we saw people walking towards the exit. Boohoo, we completed only 1/3 of the whole area! :X But since tickets are cheap, think we'll be back again soon!

Spotted this hilarious wall while on our way out! HAHAHA, full of shit, to be exact. I like the red one with a huge flower! :D I guess this was the one and only time where we snap non-stop at waste material, HA!

Made reservations, fortunately, because the restaurant was crowdeddd. Am really looking forward to this meal; it was my senior's recommendation! xD

We were first blown away by their decor: colours of maroon, black and white, walls draped in chiffon and comfortable dim lighting, very modern and classy. We were so pleased that we even posed for photos in the toilet, heh.

The antipastos we ordered we ordered! By the way, it was misprinted as 'antipesto' on the menu and I only found out after googling the term... aww, don't they look fantastic?

My pork with asparagus roll thingy, served with tangy wasabi sauce. UBER GOOD, UBER GOOD!

"3 mushroom soup with pastry, please."I cannot describe how delicious this was. I love mushrooms!

Main course: Spaghetti in white wine sauce with clams.

The clams aren't your average clams yoo see in zi-char stalls, for they were huge, fresh, sweet and succulent. I cannot describe how uber delicious this was, too! Hahaha ya ya ya, I'm just lazy to come up with adjectives... delicious means delicious what.

Last but not least, my mixed berries soda float which tasted average but but but, it contained real berries! +5 brownie points.

Made a last minute decision to skip Japanese Society lesson to go for 娛樂百分百 recording today! Oh oh oh I was really contemplating whether I should go because we weren't guaranteed seats; the guests are uber popular: 大東 and 唐禹哲~

We were one of the latest bunch to arrive and I heard some fans started queuing since yesterday? Eiow eiow eiow! 0_0

While waiting for the staff to let us into the recording studio, guess who walked past us! 大東大東大東大東大東大東! :D :D Too bad I didn't manage to capture his front view, but still! 他真的很帥耶, 思迅, 你真的沒有喜歡錯人 >_<

入場囉~ 大東 and 唐禹哲 were going to 'PK' (aka compete in various segments) each other, hence we needed to decide where we're seating: whose side were we on? Eventually, we settled on 唐禹哲's side because we thought he has fewer fans, haha! That's not quite true, surprisingly! 0_0

I've probably mentioned before that I don't favour 唐禹哲; his nostrils are huge. HAHAHA. Placards were distributed freely (原來如此) and of course, we had to pretend to be enthusiastic in case his fans could see through our facade. Heh heh heh, we had fun chanting "唐禹哲加油!" and swaying along to his singing, though. 不過我還覺得自己有點違背良心地拿著他的看板啦. xD

Realised there's another recording later, so we bummed around outside the studio. 等一下的嘉賓是薛凱琪 Fiona;she walked past us twice while we're waiting.

She was rehearsing inside.

進場囉! And her posters were given out freely too.

This time round, we got fantastic seats-- the benches were shifted nearer to the center because there weren't many people. Yiqi, Gwen and I were seated in the first row!

We were really, really near 小豬 and 小鬼! Hohohoho. So near that they could hear my every comment, so near that 小豬's gaze often landed on us. HEEHEEHEEEE, it's the angle, yoo see.

Fiona's really cute! She has no airs at all, even constantly making small talk with us (你有沒有學過這個? 真的很難...), 很直率的一位女生.

She had a magic performance and during the first one, she had a open-end cylinder and a flower. The flower went through one opening and came out from the other; the colour's supposed to change each time she does this. During the first time, I went "Eh!" even though the flower's colour remained. 小豬 looked at me and said: "請問有差嗎?!"

=______= I was so amused and yet embarrassed!

The last trick she performed was to make a toothpick jump! Hmmmm let's say it jumped, but only very slightly. 小豬 then declared that he can make a toothpick move too! He pointed his finger at one and it rolled across the table! I was so impressed and went "EHHHHHHH......!" (again).

Yiqi said 小豬 blew the toothpick across the table. -__-||| Goodness, kena cheated again! And and and, think 小豬 heard my exclamation cos' he looked up and laughed at me. Brilliant.

Okay here's my personal highlight of the day! Fiona D.I.Y-ed a tee using acrylic paint and it turned out really gorgeous. The hosts asked what she's going to do with the tee and she said: "给fans。" I think it was 小鬼 who suggested giving it to someone whose birthday was nearing.

GUESS WHAT GUESS WHAT. Before I could react, dear Yiqi started telling the hosts that my birthday's coming. "ㄚ，淑慧！她，她，26號生日，她２６號過生日!" Hahahahahahahaha! Was in slight shock at her sudden outburst so I just told them meekly, "對，星期六..."

And yes, I went up to Fiona, my knees almost buckling and voila, I became the proud owner of this one and only tee in the whole world! She jokingly asked me to change into it on the spot and I sorta declined. Haha!

Before she left the studio, Fiona wished me Happy Birthday again, oh how sweet! ^_^ After which, a couple of Fiona's fans came up to take a photo of the tee (not me, haha) and it struck me that perhaps the tee deserved a better owner. After all, I'm no fan of hers and I could sense how much the rest wanted the tee, just from their gazes alone. Another minor push factor was the wet paint; it's ley-chey to hold it in the above position all the way back to hall, can yoo imagine. Hence,

我決定把T-shirt送給別人．:D They were, of course, uber delighted and thankful. Hoho am so proud of myselfffff! 反正曾經擁有～也謝謝Ｆｉｏｎａ的生日禮物！　

基隆ing

自屏東到基隆走過這多美夢 ----<麥來亂> 五月天

沒錯, 竟然已經到了屏東的墾丁國家公園, 我們當然也要到台灣的北端走走! We took a train from Taipei train station, as usual; nope, not the MRT but a real trainnn.

First stop: 和平島公園. I never knew its existence until today, haha!

There were many, many rock formations in the park and again, they reminded me of the stuff I've learnt in my Geography classes... Hohohohoho. The cliff in the above photo has an uncanny resemblance to a lion's head! Right, right, right?

We like rocks. :D

It was drizzling and the wind was gushing; the waves flapped against the rocks while umbrellas quivered.

I saw many of these green marsh thingy here; if I'm not wrong, they're some kind of edible seaweed and many brought some home. By the way, 和平島's a family outing kinda place; families were armed with fishing nets and containers to erm, contain the stuff they fished. Tadpoles, sea slugs, crabs, whathaveyous.

Gwen and I decided to venture a little further for more photos, love the sky!

2 brinjals as my legs. Funny how un-gross purple tights looked on me, for I used to detest them. "Eiow, purple! Eiow, eiow, eiow."

I forgot what they're called but oh, don't they look like mushrooms.

We skipped lunch and were ultra famished. There was nothing much to eat here and we each settled for one miserable sausage, gua gua gua.

I had the black sausage (its made with squid ink)! HAHA. Hoi hoi hoi, don't judge a sausage by its colour okay, because it tasted fantastic! Yum yum yum, love the pieces of squid in it.

Our 2nd stop. The flight of steps we had to climb (which lead to the destinations below) almost put us off; we were this near to skipping 中正公園 entirely.

Last but not least, here's our most anticipated destination today-- 基隆廟口夜市~ It was, unfortunately, extremely crowded but well, nothing could stop us from feasting on good food!

刨刨冰. I had the strawberry flavoured one and it was fantastic: sweet, creamy, slightly sour and it even had pieces of strawberry inside. Wheewheewhee.

鼎邊銼~ Very tasty and apparently rather well-known too, though I prefer the one we had in 台南.

Yiqi and I spotted many stores selling butter crabs and we were struggling with 'To eat or not to eat?' In the end, we succumbed! HAHAHA.

We walked away 200 bucks poorer (approximately 9 bucks for one crab) but with a satisfied palate. The onions were to die for! They were juicy, sweet and totally soaked in butter gravy, yum yum. Funny how we thought the onions were better tasting than the main highlight itself... the crab could be fresher lah.

天母

天母對我來說是個熟悉的地方, 但都只有聽說的份; 今天我不再打發想到天母看看的念頭, 決定獨自一個人到天母玩!

在天母居住的foreign expatriates 很多, 所以不難聽到身邊的人用美式英文溝通. 一路上看到裝潢漂亮的店面, 國際學校, 歐洲人, 日本人, 華人,台灣人... 而factory outlets更是普邊. 其實這裡店鋪賣的東西不便宜, 我也只是隨便走走, 反正我主要是想觀察一下這邊的風氣. 該怎麼說呢, 天母是很不一樣的體驗, 也許這與語言有關, 又可能是一個人的關係才會更讓我印象深刻.

龍山寺

很久以前就想到龍山寺看看, 今天終於有機會蒞臨參觀啦! :D

原來它很靠近捷運站, 哈哈哈

這是我第一次沒有在父母的陪同下到廟宇...所以我和翊頎在有些懵懂地依照著上香順序拜神祈禱. 嗯... 說也奇怪, 我一踏出門口就有一種很平靜, 舒服的感覺; 很久沒有這樣了.

之後就在附近走走... 萬華一帶還真的蠻多上了年紀的人~ The area reminds me of Chinatown! 看到他們悠哉地聊天喝茶下棋, 我覺得這樣很好啊, 看起來還算滿足, 說不定我滿頭白髮時也會過這樣的生活呢, 哈哈. 逛了類似舊貨跳蚤市場後, 我們就向華西街夜市前進.

華西街夜市是第一個觀光夜市, 可是它也太虛了吧~ 食物貴又沒有什麼好逛的, 真的很不名副其實勒, 悶死我了. 更糟糕的是, 到處都可以看到情趣商品和A片的販賣. Oh my goodness gracious, 很明目張膽! 0______0 噁心死了. 但我倒是看到蠻多日本遊客在華西街逛耶, 奇怪, 台北還有很多更棒的夜市啊!

陽明山採海竽

今天我們第二次到陽明山~ 在這之前, 我在公館車站巧遇到印有林宥嘉糖果廣告的公車! 哈哈哈我很興奮! 公車司機很好心地等我拍完照片後再開車~

We took a million photos before we finally get down to pluck our very own lilies. My first attempt failed miserably though; the stalk broke in the middle! :( :( :( Bahhh I was silly to tug from mid-stalk upwards, maybe I should be gentler and not pull with all my might instead.

I cheated by placing the poor flower on the ground and walked away. Haha! But I wasn't the only one, I see abandoned lilies everywhere. :X

My 2nd attempt!

Yay yay yay it was a success! A whole, complete lily! I frowned at the soil on my hands and feet, however.

Not satisfied with only one stalk of lily, I decided to pluck another one. We came all the way here after all...

We ventured to another plot as we didn't see nice looking lilies within our reach and sight; I went after Gwen and Yiqi for my second lily. I had a tough time pulling this lily out, pfffft. I pulled, tugged, complained and adjusted my grip; pulled, tugged, and pulled somemore.

THEN IT HAPPENED

The stalk snapped (yes, again!), I lost my balance because I was squatting, and tipped backwards.

TADAH. I fell!

Goodness gracious! I wanted to die there and then, I tell yoo. It was utterly embarrassing! Immediately after my fall, I adjusted my skirt to prevent further embarrassment, muahaha. Anyway, the main point was, I was practically wailing for help but no one came! At all! Instead, I heard laughters and there was this male passerby who kept shouting "拍照！　快點拍照！"　=_____________________= 你知道為什麼我想死了吧．．．　－苦笑－

In the end, 阿貓　and 玉茹 came to my rescue! THANKS THANKS THANKS. I couldn't really move in that position because it's either 1) 走光,　or 2) losing my balance again and drawing more laughter.

Gwen was my photographer during the fateful incident and check out the flattened greenies, hohoho. 採海竽時往後倒，　慘壓後面的花草．

Where's Gwen and Yiqi when I needed them to save me from the ditch, in case yoo're wondering. They were perched on the ledge above, seeing me pluck lilies, seeing me fall and then laughing at me. Laugh! :( And they thought I was joking when I wailed for help because, in Gwen's words, "你跌倒的姿勢很美"... -_-|||

The back of my dress and sneakers were soiled, le sigh. 其實我在下去採海竽之前，我已有一種不祥的預感，可是我卻不把它當一回事．．．結果就發生令人氣氛又好笑的事情囉．But this was an unforgettable experience though, I agreeeeeeee. Next time when yoo have the chance to pluck something, be it a carrot, sweet potato or a flower, remember to steady yourself first! That is unless if yoo want a memorable experience like mine too! :D

We planned to catch some glowing lilies in action but they sound more interesting than they were, so we left for dinner!

Dinner was at a fusion Japanese restaurant at 士林; I like the pork chop although the rest said it was too dry for their liking.

FYI, yes, we can pluck the lilies and pay for what we bring home. It cost NT10 per stalk but sadly, mine died in days although calla lilies are supposed to be rather hardy. :S Hiyah.

麻辣火鍋

今天我們到了忠孝東路的一家火鍋店去吃晚餐~ We had a light lunch while 阿貓 skipped that totally, just for tonight's feast. xD Almost didn't manage to get a table cos the restaurant was fully reserved (!!!) but well, Lady Luck smiled at us and voila!

鴛鴦湯底: clear and spicy 麻辣 soup base.

衝啊!

After we settled down, we went straight to the chocolate fountain where we had skewers of marshmallows (and fruits) coated in chocolate, no less. Yummy! After which, we rattled off a whole list of ingredients to the waitress because we couldn't wait to sink our teeth into something savoury... In the end, the beef, chicken, meat balls, vegetables, seafood etc. etc. etc. were served at a rate beyond what we could polish off, hence our table had stacks of uncooked food which threatened to topple any moment. =__=

Thankfully, the 麻辣 soup base wasn't as spicy as the one I tried at 公館 with Sixun. It was bearable; there wasn't a need to down plenty of juices or even fruits, unlike the other time which was really buay tahan, haha!

We ate and ate and ate, it's a buffet!

The lovely chocolate fountain, a very pleased me with my Xth ice-cream cone; the fantastic Haagen-Dazs and Meiji ice-cream. Wheewhee. I think I had at least 3 cones, in addition to the random scoops of ice-cream; the Haagen-Dazs strawberry one is superb! <3 <3 <3

We couldn't finish what we ordered and we played 總極密碼, where the loser will have to eat an item from the pot. HAHA it was hilarious how the rest were absolutely put off by my idea of forfeit: chocolate-in-spicy-soup. 他們都說很難吃, 但是我覺得還不賴啊~ :D

As usual, we felt uber full and uncomfortable after the meal. So full that Yiqi kept making weird noises while on the way back, hohoho.

the 'ter-gua' man

We attended a talk by Jame*s Gome*z today in school; it was on citizen journalism and of course, politics (the general elections).

I don't agree with everything he said, which is not surprising, but at times I do feel sad for the opposition who are fighting a seemingly tough battle to broadcast their ideas. Hmmm hmmm hmmm. He was referred as "Dr. Gome*z".

He spoke well and I felt really at home when his speech started. I haven't heard English spoken with a Singaporean accent for a long time; the Taiwanese emphasise their 'r's, 't's, 'th's so much which put us Singaporeans to slight shame. So much for being an effectively bilingual country! Hahaha, oh wells, majority can write better than they speak lah.

III: 台南半日游

We took a train from 高雄 and arrived in 台南 in just 30 minutes! Fantastic.

It was hot, hot, hot, so this was the only photo I took of myself today (what a cute tree!); am too yucky and tired to pose for the others.

安平古堡

This is yet another historical site I've visited in Taiwan; it used to be occupied by the Dutch a long, long time ago.

We strolled along the 安平老街 but nothing caught my attention, so I turned my attention to food instead, haha!

Popped into the supposedly renowned 周式蝦捲 eatery and ordered a set meal each because we can then try a little of everything. :D We ate 鼎邊銼! It was a pleasant surprise to taste this dish in 台南; I've only tried my grandmother's version and comparatively, the texture here was different but it was still delicious nonetheless. 有家的味道!

I was super duper tired at this point in time (Gwen too), so the rest kept laughing at how slow we walked. -___- 安億橋 has a pretty good view, in addition to 很舒服的海風, but too bad I wasn't in the best mood to fully appreciate them.

This couple has a pet pig! Hahaha so cute yet amusing. Many parents were calling out to their kids: "哇你們看, 有豬耶!" Heeheehee I am really amused.

II: 高雄半日游

我們一大早從墾丁出發至高雄, 車程大約花了3小時, 於此同時也補充一下睡眠, 哈哈~ But it slipped my mind to bade a proper goodbye to Kenting. :[ Oh wells, I'll always remember the fantastic time we had there!

The newly opened Kaoshiung MRT gave away free rides on the red line and today was the last day. It was shiok to walk through the gantry without tapping our cards, heh heh.

Our first stop: 橋頭糖廠 (Ciaotou Sugar Refinery)

It was absolutely warm and humid! My goodness, I didn't have the mood to take much photos cos I was either busy fanning myself or worrying about getting sun burnt.

And we came to this wholesale place which sells food (which contains sugar, no less). The highlight here were popsicles though, for I see many buying boxes and boxes of them. We were thinking, 真的有那麼好吃嗎... but at only NT$12 each, how could we not join in the fun?

We had a popsicle each; mine's yam/芋頭口味 and it was delicious! :D The texture was similar to the flower-shaped one we had in 十分~

This was one part of the sugar refinery exhibit we saw. Sad to say, we were not exactly interesteddd. It was uber warm, remember! No mood to learn how sugar is extracted from sugar canes lah.

Before we catch a train to 台南, we did some quick shopping at a place known as '高雄的五分埔'... I can't recall the exact name but check out the pretty flower displays at the station exit! Lovely~ We had an hour to spend here and not surprisingly, we managed to comb only a small, small area. Ahhhhh but I think we'll be back again soon, haha.

Part I: 墾丁之旅 ♥ ♥ ♥

Sping break's here! We had 4 days on our hands and we went to 墾丁! Wheewheewheewhee; the sun, the beach and more importantly, the music festivals! 墾丁, 我來了~

But before that, we had to endure a super long queue at 台北客運站; we waited for approximately 5 hours before we boarded our bus to 高雄. During our wait, there was this hyper-active 5-year-old girl who was running around us, laughing, giggling and basically being a slight nuisance. Goodness gracious, you should have seen our smiles: from :D to :) to : to :( to >: (except Layming who remained absolutely patient 0_0). Oh welllllllls, maybe the amount of my patience is proportionate to the amount of sleep I got.

The ride to 高雄 pretty much satisfied our sleep-deprived souls and after another 3 hour ride, we're finally in 墾丁!!! By the way, if yoo're wondering why on earth would we spend so much time travelling, that's because 墾丁's located in the southern most part of Taiwan. We travelled from the north (台北) to the south (墾丁) basically, don't this sound fantastic, haha!

We had 滷味 for our late lunch. Hmmmmm the sauce was too salty and sweet for my liking, boo.

這是墾丁大街, the busiest and crowded street in 墾丁. I love how the street bustled with activity from day to night, even more so during this peak period of music festivals. We were told that many stall vendors came from 高雄 and 墾丁 is much quieter during during the non-peak season.

一條長長的街上走著許多熱血青年, 攤販不惜在烈陽下擺攤討生活, 天空的云彩很美麗, 你是否有察覺到?

We planned to rent scooters or even bicycles (which I can neither ride) as our mode of transport but they were all rented out! Okay, we took a cab instead and headed to 貓鼻頭~ Our friendly driver gave us a brief introduction on 墾丁 and we even signed up for water activities (for tomorrow) under his recommendation!

It was fantastically windy!

Super pretty; the clouds were lovely! The scenery lifted my spirits immediately and the wind had a strange calming effect. xD

Next up was my personal highlight for the trip: 2008春浪音樂節 @ 貓鼻頭公園! 今天的主軸是蘇打綠! ^_^

享受音樂的朋友都齊聚一堂! 我們抵達音樂會場地時, 正在表演的是海洋樂團... 嗯, 他們的音樂好像不太適合我, 不過Joanna的歌聲卻讓我們很享受~

接著, 蘇打綠登場啦! 哦耶哦耶哦耶, 大家開始high, 氣氛也熱鬧了起來. 比起上回觀賞他們在 The Wall 的演出, 這次在看表演時確實有蠻不一樣的感覺. 墾丁嘛, 心情當然也會漂亮多一點! 青峰還是一樣幽默健談, 家凱把上衣脫掉同樣引起全場尖叫, 除此之外, 蘇打綠也邀了一位歌迷上台表演 (不是我)... 他太好笑了! 我的天, 怎麼都不會怯場勒...

本來以為蘇打綠已經把現場氣氛炒得最高, 怎麼知道張震岳&MC Hotdog 卻更加厲害! 0_0 真讓我眼前一亮, 還有小小歹勢, 因為至少一半曲目的歌詞都有粗口, 哈哈! But but but, 我是很佩服他們的功力, 尤其當<我愛台妹>的音樂節奏響起全場一起搖擺大唱時, 連我也忍不住加入大合唱!

新加坡歌手Tanya是當晚的最後一位表演歌手~ 她也很紅啊, 我有聽到旁邊的人跟著一起唱她的歌, 也聽得很入神, 所以大家怎麼只記得孫燕姿... I felt kinda patriotic from the moment she came on stage, cos' yoo know, she's doing us proud beyond the shores. Tanya 唱歌真的超讚, 尤其<達爾文>更是好聽 !

音樂會結束時大約已經十一半, 本來我們計畫搭接駁車到墾丁大街然後再搭公車回到露營區 (yes, we went camping but more on that later!), 但是警衛人員說因為交通擁擠, 所以車子應該不會來了. "你們自己想辦法回去吧," 他是這麼告訴我們的. My goodness, 我聽到時差點瘋掉, 什麼自己想辦法嘛, 露營區與貓鼻頭是一個東一個西, 用走的需要幾個小時吧 =__=

這時, 我們的救星出現了!!! 美欣 approached the pick-up driver and asked if we could hitch a ride to 墾丁大街; they agreed! xD xD 哇太好了! I hopped (climbed, to be exact) onto the vehicle and I felt quite surreal. First, this was my first time in a pick-up (or lorry or truck or whatsoever) and second, I can't believe our luck in getting a ride from a couple of strangers, in foreign land some more. We chatted with the nice stall vendors who were from 高雄, while the vehicle zoomed, swerved and braked, and while the winds blew our hairs fiercely. 雖然風很冷, 但相信大家的心里都是暖暖的~

From the conversation, I realised how somewhat restricted and inflexible Singapore is in their eyes. "Singaporeans get caned for chewing gum, right?" I was appalled, no less, and yet surprised at the image they have of us. "No lah, caning's for serious offences, for example, rape," I said.

We bade goodbyes, expressed our heartfelt thanks and strolled along the streets. Guess who we bumped into! 蘇打綠! 0_0 我的天啊我的天啊, 太巧了吧! ^+++^ I actually walked past them without noticing who they were until eagle-eyed Layming spotted them. OMGOMOMG.

小鹿亂撞, 心情有點慌, 又很興奮, 相機在哪裡, 誰去問可不可以合照, 頭髮有沒有亂, 怎麼辦我都沒有化妝, 要站在哪裡呢, 笑容會不會太僵硬, 要跟他們說什麼勒.... 心理有很多疑問! 最後我就一大串地告訴青峰我們是新加坡的歌迷 (其實只有我是粉絲), 也是政大的交換生. 我不曉得他有沒有聽進去, 他'哦'了一下, 之後問我有沒有去看剛才在春浪的演出. "有啊!", 我開心地回答, 順便也把手上的活動蓋章秀給他看.

重點是, 一個新加坡人在陌生的墾丁街上碰到超喜歡的樂團, 請問這機率有多高? 雖然不是整6人, 不過我覺得還是很棒! :D 謝謝美欣學姊幫我們拍照!

碰到蘇打綠後, 我整晚心情特別好, 簡直樂的快飄起來了... 我想我是微笑著入睡的吧, 哈哈!

Day 2: A postcard-ish scene greeted us while we waited for a cab outside our camping site. Have yoo realised how gorgeous the clouds are in Kenting? Anyway, camping was fun! The area was cleaner than expected, thank goodness, but it was rather stuffy and warm in the tent though. And it brought back memories as a NPCC cadet; those were the days man.

Yep yep, those were the iconic landmark and lighthouse! The sun was shining ultra brightly today, so we slapped on sunscreen and put on our shades. Heehee I don't really parade in shades in Singapore but I felt so at ease over here! Flock mentality, yoo see.

Next up was, as the sign reads, the most southern point in Taiwan!

I was slightly disappointed with what I saw when we reached, for I expected grander structure and architecture. I mean, it's THE southern most point of Taiwan!

Oh wells, the view was good, though! :D

The main thing I wanted to show in this photo is the Havaianas fan which was mass distributed on the streets. I think it's super nice and bright!

Afterwards, a lady came to fetch us to our next destination: water activities! We did 浮潛, which is skin-diving if I'm not wrong and 水上摩托車. Whoowhoowhoo it was my first time seeing so many fishes, corals (and other species which I can't name) right under my nose! Fantastic! 簡直太神奇了~

I don't have photos of what we saw in the waters but check out Gwen's blog for photos of us in diving suits! HAHA. Anyway, the staff treated us to uber fresh sashimi while we waited for a ride to 貓鼻頭. 謝謝你們的招待, 我會記得你們的熱情! :D We arrived at 貓鼻頭 later than yesterday and had to make do with street snacks for 'dinner'.

We enjoyed 林曉培's energetic performance, followed by 強辯樂團's which received lukewarm response. The people around us sat down and stoned when they came on stage, cheered when 五月天's 怪獸 appeared and then sat down again. 強辯得到的觀眾回應也相當稀少, 怎麼會這樣, 原來他們不是很紅啊, 我有些驚訝.

雖然眼睛是看著強辯的表演, 但腦海里卻不斷浮現'五月天', 哈哈! 終於, 終於,他們出現啦, 相信全場的歌迷期待的也正是這一刻! 對於五月天的演出描述, 我應該寫了好多吧, 不過這次因為是墾丁音樂季, 所以我更加享受他們的音樂. <離開地球表面>的音樂一下, 我也跟著離開地球表面, 跳啊跳啊, 整個人似乎有點神經, 嘿嘿. 雖然表演時的一些片段我已熟悉, 不過還是當作第一次聽到一樣, 很盡情地大喊"L-O-V-E", "嘿嘿嘿嘿", 很忘我地跟著唱, 很陶醉地觀賞表演. 快樂的時光總是過得特別快, 一轉眼,五月天的表演結束了.

如果每年都可以參與這樣的音樂節那該有多好...

跳夠了, 現在就讓心情平復一下吧. 陳綺貞聲音的滲透力不是亂蓋的. 當他們決定坐下觀賞時我依然站著, 因為我知道陳綺貞不會只表演抒情歌曲. 很喜歡<1234567> 還有 <躺在你的衣櫃>; 湧上前拍照的男生有很多哦... 魅力非凡.

陳綺貞的表演結束後, 大家紛紛離去. ㄟ, 接下來不是還有萬芳嗎? 本以為表演取消, 不過沒有啦, 她還是上場了! 場地的人少了很多,於是view很不錯. 嗯, 我對萬芳的認識不多, 最熟悉的莫過於膾炙人口的<新不了情>. 雖然除了這首歌以外其他的我都沒聽過, 不過安靜地聆聽她漂亮的聲音也蠻享受的. But Gwen fell asleep, haha! Tsk tsk tsk.

燈光暗了, 散場了, 有點依依不捨. 再見啦<春浪>, 這兩晚我盡情地玩了一番, 這也是個很難忘得經驗! 原來著名的墾丁音樂節是這麼一回事, 希望我們後會有期...

士林夜市, 淡水, 八里: laymingintaiwan

Layming's in Taipei! Hohoho after meeting her at 西門町 and then plonking our bags down in the hotel, we went to 士林夜市 for... what else, food of course.

雞排, 棺材板, 苦瓜蜂蜜汁, 蔥油餅, 草莓雪花冰~ Wahwahwah the 蔥油餅 and 雪花冰 are to die for! Super delicious! Too bad the rain spoiled my shopping mood for my shoes were soaked... -__-|||

We headed back to the hotel for some rest after the superb dinner but before this, we went hunting for shower foam as the 2 of us conveniently decided not to bring any. 0_0 But the convenience stores didn't have any travel sized ones so we settled on a bar of soap instead. Hohoho, 會不會有點悽涼啊... nonetheless, it's just NT19 and smelled pretty good too. :D
By the way, I was all smiley and bouncy even after a long day because Layming brought something special from Hong Kong...

THE famous Krispy Kreme donuts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Goodness gracious, they look so so so yummy! I had one glazed donut and it was seriously soft and fluffy and melt in your mouth and whathaveyous. It was too sweet, yes, but well, it's Krispy Kreme! #_#

The next day, while I was busy washing up and packing my stuff, Layming was still sleeping! Which is not a huge surprise because she kept exclaiming how comfortable the bed was and well, I agree!

For breakfast, we slurped yummy 阿宗麵線! Check out how big her bag was, it screamed "I'm a tourist!" -___-

Headed to 淡水 and on our way to 真理街, I bought my current favourite drink: 檸檬綠茶山粉圓! Slurp slurp.

Brought Layming to try the fantastic 文化阿給 I tasted the other time with Gwen and Yiqi. 嗯, 這次的醬料似乎比較多水份, 不過還是很好吃啦~

Miss Lee decided to buy a 肉包 in addition to the 阿給 and 魚丸湯 we had; it was good too!

And so here's probably the highlight for the day: 淡江中學~ My 2nd time here, so I wasn't exactly excited, but Layming was ooh-ing and aah-ing all the way. xD

Pit-stop: toilet break at Starbucks! Do yoo know that Starbucks has become our most frequented place whenever we need toilets? They are almost everywhere! :D However, I do feel slightly embarrassed whenever the staff go '歡迎光臨' when we enter and '謝謝光臨' when we leave, heehee.

It was drizzling! Booooo. The fogginess made 淡水 look like a dream though, 有點迷幻的感覺...

Anyway, we took a ferry to 八里! No no it's not the Bali we know; it's an island opposite 淡水!

I'm glad I didn't puke! Hahahaha.

What's there to see in 八里? Frankly speaking, I have no idea either. Ehhhh, scenery and more scenery, I think. Oh wells but here's the pretty 左岸公園~

We got really tired after walking and so we had donuts during our break! xD xD xD 甜死我了.

Before we head back to NCCU to meet the rest, we took the 貓空 gondola, hoping to catch some pretty night sights. Hmmm but we weren't sure where to go after alighting, so we wandered around hoping to find a good spot for photos. :D

After the 2-way ride (NT100), we chionged back to my hostel where I packed hurriedly because we're making our way to 墾丁 tonight! Packing was such a whirl; I under-estimated the time needed. :[

Gwen and I visited 師大夜市 this evening and I finally got to taste something which I've been longing after for quite a while.

We had 可麗餅! Mine's green tea + red bean flavour and it's goooood! :D

Here's another photo of the crepe beside my face, see, it's really big! Hmmmm I shall try the savoury flavours next time!

@嘉義; 阿里山 & 奮起湖

7 exchange students from Singapore and Hong Kong set off for 嘉義 on the 28th of March, with 阿里山 in our minds because it's the 櫻花 season! And that's my flower-printed dress in the first picture, jw!

So we took a long bus ride from 台北 to 嘉義 and because we missed the earlier bus, we had to sprint to catch the last train to 阿里山. 我的天, 請嘗試背著行李狂奔, 因為對我這沒有運動細胞的人, 簡直是一個字: Thankfully, we caught the train and off we go, up up up into the mountains!

Finally! I took off my jacket for this photo despite the cold. :3 Oh my oh my, I really like old school trains.

Although it was drizzling, we still whipped out our cameras and snapped away at the pretty skies enthusiastically.

Flowers! I like flowers. We saw our first peach blossom too.

We spotted a red, oriental looking building and it looked like a temple at first sight. But lo and behold, it's actually Starbucks, and it's the highest outlet in Taiwan, how's that. :D

Had a rather unsatisfying dinner at a roadside stall because the eateries here charge exorbitant prices, grrrr. Shopped around the meagre number of shops and I walked away with just 2 日出餅. It's round and Alishan's famous for its sunrise, hence the name, i think!

Anyway, I really like its texture; the middle portion's something like muah-chee. Yum yum yum.

This is the 民宿 we stayed at, which is rather decent though the room didn't come with an attached toilet. Well, it was just one night, so it's fineeee.

Gwen, Yiqi and I decided not to bore ourselves by staying in the room doing nothing, hence we went to the always welcoming 7-eleven for some piping hot 關東煮~ Have I mentioned how wonderful the Taiwanese convenience stores are? Superb range of snacks, drinks, meals etc., 比起來, 新加坡的便利商店簡直遜掉啦...

關東煮! It's slightly similar to our yongtaufoo back home, where skewered 章魚燒, 貢丸 and the likes are served with soup; there's also have 豬血糕, which I particularly like. xD

It's only 10 degrees in the morning! Brrrrr. We woke up super early at 3am and jostled with the humongous crowd to catch the train up to 祝山-- we're going to see the Alishan sunrise! You should see how the commuters chionged/squeezed/shout their way into the train; I'm sure they are on par or even better than Singaporeans when it comes to being kiasu. :[

Le sigh. 太陽公公 was not on our side that day because it was too cloudy! :( :( So no pretty orange-red skies, what a pity! Boohoohoo.

We then followed the path to explore Alishan and we came across rows of peach blossoms along the road! Brilliant.

More peach blossoms! There were several species here but I have no idea what they're called. Nevertheless, seeing all these 櫻花 blooms make the trip worthwhile (yes, despite no sunrise)!

Someone suggested baking a cake with the above flowers. =__=

Amongst the greenery and damp air, we trekked along the foot paths and took in the sights and sounds of nature.

Alishan is home to many nature formations (with cute names); the heart shaped formation is really sweet! Oh and check out the pig lookalike! Super cool.

神木was our last stop in Alishan before we had to trek all the way back to the train station because, yes, we missed the train at 神木 station! orzzzzzzzzzzzz. 又多了一個'累'字...

Goodbye 阿里山! This isn't the train we took, anyway.

We had an hour to spare at 奮起湖 before we catch the train back to 嘉義.

奮起湖老街... We just rushed through it cos' 1) it was crowded and 2) we don't have much time. Basically it's similar to all the 老街s we've been to, old school shops selling souvenirs, food and local specialties. I heard that 阿里山 produces pretty good wasabi!

奮起湖站是位置於阿里山鐵路的中站, 所以以前很多人會在這裡吃飯休息. 因此, 奮起湖最有名的就是奮起湖便當囉. Notice that the box is made of wooden sheets and there are 10 different side dishes served; my favourite has got to be the (red) slice of pork chop. Yummy!

After a satisfying lunch, we took the train down the 阿里山 railway...

to 嘉義...
...and reached Taipei at night, just in time for dinner. I was dead beat when I reached my hostel, goodness gracious, but the scenery and sights (peach blossoms, oh!) at 阿里山 was too good to be true, a slight pity about the sunrise though. ;] Let's venture far far beyond Taipei again!

Anyway, I realised I would enjoy the show better when I'm watching it from the TV rather than being part of the recording. Strangely, I was pretty bored during the second half (during 人不可貌相), no thanks to my lousy view cos' I was sitting diagonally behind Jacky Wu. And this reminds me, I was told that my (very bored) face was captured on camera a few times during the second half ! Oh my goodness gracious, please tune in to this episode to see how bored I was, although I have no idea when it's going to show in Singapore... HAHA.

Hmmmmm it was an eye-opener, still! I wish I could go for the recording every week but too bad we have lessons on Monday evening,boohoo.

By the wayyyy, we bumped into 同恩 and 范逸臣 before the recording, and 鴨子 in the toilet (we accidentally went to the staff toilet instead!).

菁桐, 平溪, 十分

We visited 菁桐, 平溪, 十分 with 美欣學姊 today; took a train from Taipei to Rueifang and then to our first stop, 菁桐.

I like the old, rustic feel.

That's the train we alighted from! Hohoho I was in a pretty mood. We scrambled to take our shots before we turn into minced meat =_=

We first popped into a souvenir shop and walked away happily with our purchases. I love the postcards which are designed like Taiwanese train ticket stubs. :D

This structure houses small bamboo poles which people write their wishes on. Yiqi wrote one secretly and refused to show us where she hanged it nor divulge what she wrote, hahaha! 喂, 你不說我也猜得到... ^_^

We had lunch in this little feel-good eatery.

And we scribbled some 到此一游 messages on the wall... Although I had a tough time finding a spot to scribble on, I still managed to write 2! xD

美欣 wanted to venture further and we followed; tranquility greeted us. Very lovely! :D I came to realise that I enjoy the peace some ulu (but still pretty) spots can give; perfect for slow walks and long chats.

We got ourselves an ice-cream shaped in a flower and boy, it was goooood! xD Malt is one of its ingredient and it makes the popsicle last longer without melting.

We decided to walk from 菁桐 to 平溪 since it's just one stop awayyyy. Wheewhee, took in many lovely sights of suburban Taipei along the way. That's Gwen, 美欣 and Yiqi (from left to right), my 3 companions for the day.

Hello hello hello

Finally, after half an hour on our feet. 平溪 got its name because literally, a 平溪 (flat stream) flows through it.

平溪老街 was disappointing cos' most shops were closed and there's nothing much to see or buy. Perhaps over-commercialised 九分老街 made me less responsive to 平溪's quaintness.

I've always heard 麵茶 being mentioned on Taiwanese variety shows so I had to try it. Oh wells, it's okay but not fantastic.

We went into these little caves and basically saw nothing but darkness and mud walls. It was slightly damp and cold; yoo could play hide and seek here if yoo wish. :D

八仙洞! Well well well, there're no deities here, for the board at the entrance explained that the name was merely given to attract tourists, haha!

Our last stop for the day: 十分

This is the home of 天燈 (sky lantern, literally) and I got myself a minature 天燈 from this shop. See those materials laid out on the table (cloth, beads, paper, etc.)? I think I could actually make one too if I had the time!

觀瀑吊橋

Long bridges + height = very scared :( Thank goodness it wasn't shaky! 0_0 But Gwen cheekily jumped on the bridge while we were on it and I almost went berserk, hahaha.

放天燈 was our last but most important mission for the day! We opted for one in auspicious red and proceeded to pen our blessings and wishes on it. The 老板 then lighted the lantern and it slowly rose as hot air gradually filled its interior. It was a pretty sight seeing our lantern rising, the size of the red spot decreasing and finally disappearing into the dark sky.

Up, up and away! 希望上天能夠聽到我們的祈禱~

遲到但很好吃的晚餐

因為害怕暴動, 所以媽媽希望我在總統大選這天呆在宿舍... 本來想在傍晚時出去附近逛逛, 怎知卻巧遇想去看馬英九香港的同學... 既然有這樣的緣分, 我和Yiqi就決定改變計畫, 一起前往至馬英九的競選總部~

抵達的時候, view已經不好, 我們只好站在後頭邊聽台灣第12任總統馬英九的speech, 邊感受台灣人的熱情與對未來的期待. 他們吶喊歡呼猛揮旗子(我們賣了台灣的國旗~), 我們四個也有樣學樣, 哈哈!

淡水之旅

我們的淡水之旅Part II在星期五的早上展開~ I took nearly 200 photos; can yoo imagine how much fun we had. xD

第一站是淡水阿給, 我們終於嘗到超級無敵好吃的阿給了! Whoohoo it's so uber good.

第二站是個秘密地點哦... 但在抵達前, 我們經過了美麗的花園...

...而花園旁有塊有趣的形聲解釋, 嘿, 有沒有看到我的姓氏?

...沒錯, 這個郵箱比我矮!哈哈哈哈哈哈哈(狂笑). This was placed beside a primary school, yoo see, which explains its size.

我們到了所謂秘密地點: <不能說的秘密>的拍攝地點耶~ I didn't watch the movie but Yiqi and Gwen did, so they know where to take photos, hoho.

We came across these pretty brick arches while exploring the campus and guess what?

We posed for pictorial-shot-lookalike photos. HAHA! I think we spent at least a good 10 minutes perfecting our shots and poses, despite the teaching staff and students throwing 0_0 glances at us. 你們的學校真的很美啊~

Gorgeous campus! I could sense/breathe/see/feel the 文藝氣息 in every single corner; we saw many art students around and I peeked a little at their works-- they can really draw/paint! Tsk tsk tsk.

三人行; 真開心!

接下來就是古蹟紅毛城! Am unsure of its history (yes, even after visiting it) but it has got something to do with the British occupation; it used to be a British fort! I see brick buildings all around, basically.

While sending another wooden postcard to our families, we chatted with a friendly staff who's serving his National Service in 紅毛城 cos' he's under the cultural department (being a tour guide etc.) Hahaha we were surprised, amused and I felt slightly sorry for my brothers back home.

We caught the sunset before we headed off to Fisherman's Wharf 漁人碼頭. I was so afraid that my shoes would fall into the water while posing!

Couples were spotted at everywhere and so we decided to do something fun: pseudo couple shots! HAHAHAHA :D. Because of my height, I was the girlfriend while Gwen and Yiqi were the boyfriends. -gleeful smile- Hilarious!

When we ended our eventful 淡水之旅 with street snacks from the nightmarket, I was totally zapped of energy-- 12 hours of quality sight-seeing with excellent company.

迷你跳蚤市場

My hall was buzzing with activity this evening because a mini flea market was held here! My Korean roomie thought the eager 叫賣 by stall holders was uber amusing and urged me to take a look as well. :D She was right, I heard non-stop "全部NT50而已哦", "衣服都NT100", "快來看看" etc. during the 20 minutes we spent browsing around. The sellers were all nice and friendly-- we could open the boxes to check out their contents, bargain (they said we could do so, haha!), ask for freebies, and when we decide to move on without buying anything despite asking a million questions, we were still greeted by their smiles. "沒關係~"

I spent only NT10 on a beaded necklace; the real shopping queen was Gwen. She bought so much barang barang that her poor hands could barely contain them. xD

F3 and I

I loaned an F3 for 3 days; we were to shoot black and white photos for our photography class. This is probably my only chance to toy around with a manual (but still professional) camera, so hurray!

I had problems operating the camera initially, but the joy kicked in when I can finally enjoy the little click sounds of the shutter when I snapped away. Clean, crisp clicks. Nice. :D

My negatives were developed(!!!) after a slightly torturous yet amusing session in the dark room yesterday. 所以我必須謝謝同學,助教,學姊和學長的幫忙~ And can I add that the dark room is super duper dark; I can't even see my fingers! -__- I thought there's something wrong with my eyes but thankfully, everyone experienced the same thing, heng ah.

蘇打綠老歌之夜

昨晚出席了期盼已久的蘇打綠音樂會~ 我的天啊, 簡直完全值回票價, 整晚都很享受沉浸在好音樂之中...

The Wall 的空間小, 大家都站著聽歌, 但也因為小才可以清楚地看到蘇打綠. 我站在阿龔那邊, 大約第4排吧, 我的號碼很後面但是很幸運地站在很不錯的位置~

既然是老歌之夜, 所以都是翻唱歌曲囉. 原本以為只會聽到那些超級無敵舊歌 (如鄧麗君, 高凌風年代), 但是大錯特錯, 曲目不僅讓我驚喜, 投入, 其實過半的歌曲我都有聽過! 一開場表演了Yesterday, 僅有吉他手阿福和青峰，下一首加入鍵盤阿龔，接下來就是馨儀、家凱、小威陸續上場，每上來一個就唱一首歌. 曲目的安排是由年代由久到近, 每一首歌代表了3個月的光陰, 就這樣一直從80年代表演到90年代的作品.

這樣的曲目編排, 我很喜歡. 就好像隨著青峰的聲音和蘇打綠的音樂踏入時光機, 彷彿看見很久以前的意境, 然后不自覺地逐漸邁向熟悉的年代.

我從來沒有在演唱會上笑得那麼多, 昨晚卻笑得很大聲，很放鬆，很盡情。跟台下歌迷一起笑, 一起鬧, 一起喊encore, 一起享受音樂, 雖然不相識, 但我認為這是件非常愉快的事. 蘇打綠是個平易近人又親切的樂團... 青峰真的超級超級超級好笑的, 什麼計程車司機的故事啦, 家教學生的趣事啦, 誰的笑話不好笑就得脫褲啦, 還有他也常常說"笑屁啦/哈屁啦"的東西, 簡直就跟我一樣~ 如果我們是朋友就好了, 哈哈哈.

我一見你就笑, 紅鞋女孩, 夢醒時分, 我很醜但是我很溫柔, 一個人的我依然會微笑, 讓我歡喜讓我憂, 淚海, 鴨子, 悶等等都讓我懷念. 蘇打綠站在台上有獨特的舞台魅力, 青峰的嗓子又好到沒話說, 可以柔情也可以搖滾, 超吊!

雖然單獨去看表演, 但我一點也不覺得奇怪, 反而蠻享受這樣一個人的"逃亡". 謝謝蘇打綠又給了我一個難忘的夜晚 ;]

Holiday-ing

漂亮的星期六中午, 我們到了好樂迪Holiday唱歌!

Have heard so much raves about Taiwanese karaoke chains- fantastic service, huge rooms, clean facilities and wide range of songs. Well, they're all correct! There were only 2 of us and they gave us the smallest room but, lo and behold, 此small room非比small room! 0_0 It's like the huge room in Kbox for approximately 6 people!

有這麼大的包廂, 當然得好好利用啦~ 哈哈哈, so YQ and I utilised the space by positioning ourselves on the opposite ends of the sofa. And did I mention how big the room is? Big enough for a mini dance floor, I think.

It's a touch-screen song system! Wheewheewhee, we took quite some time getting used to it though. Oh and food is included in the package too; food was good! And I really like the warm beverages they have-- 仙草茶, 柚子茶, 菊花普爾... 也有排骨湯! ^^

還是很喜歡唱櫻桃幫的<乖乖>! 一直重複著 '乖乖乖乖乖乖乖乖乖' 和 '壞壞壞壞壞壞壞壞壞'真的很過癮勒,可是YQ is very amused. -__-

本來以為可以賴皮, 時間到了還再唱多半個小時之類的, but no! The song system was terminated, how clever of them! Anyhoos, we will be back but not on a regular basis because the service and facilities (clean toilets! fantastic microphones and sound system!) justify the price we pay. Or is it vice versa.

明天去看蘇打綠的演出!!! :D

白色情人節音樂會

今天是白色情人節, 你有沒有收到巧克力呢? ^^ But before I launch into the concert details, lemme first show yoo the most important photo of the day (on the left!):

三位單身的女子在白色情人節晚上出席了才女Peggy許哲珮的音樂會~ Peggy的音樂我一直以來都很欣賞, 但是從耳機播放的是沒有生命的音樂, 所以這次有機會觀賞她與band的演出, 我是很期待的!

我們的位子很好哦-- 舞台正中央的第2排; so near that i suspect Peggy could even hear me burp. xD 站得這麼近, 是不是歌曲的感染度和歌聲的感動指數也會相對地提升呢? 嗯, 或許與距離無關, 但是演出真的, 真的很棒!

特別嘉賓光良和好友小美也到場獻花支持Peggy! 他們一起合唱<勇氣>; 哈哈Peggy很好笑地不告訴他們要唱的是那一首歌(這讓兩位很緊張而在台下的歌迷卻很期待), 只說歌曲大家都會唱~ 結果真的耶, 鍵盤前奏一下,大家都"哦..."了一聲!

演唱<氣球>時, 手里當然要握著氣球才有feel... 好聽好聽好聽很好聽! 歌唱完後,氣球就變得有些多餘,所以她就問我們要不要她手中的氣球? 我當然說要啦 (YQ事後跟我說, 我回答得很大聲, 哈哈!),不過她還是給了站在我前面的女生...唉唷, 誰叫我不在第一排. 其實我有想過伸手去拿, 但是如果Peggy沒有給我, 會是超尷尬的... -__-

Anyway, 大約兩小時的音樂會里, Peggy在live band的音樂伴奏下表演了自己的歌, 為其他歌手寫的歌 (她唱了寫給Gigi的<沉迷>, 超級無敵讚),還有未曾發表過的作品. 哦哦哦, 最讓我印象深刻的歌曲是在演唱前, Peggy說了一個有關天使媽媽與女兒的故事; 令我震嘆的是歌曲竟然能夠深深地打動我,眼淚就不直覺地湧了出來... But I'm not the only one hor because I heard someone behind sniffling, hoho. 接著演唱的是<永遠在一起>, 我的天, 太催淚了吧~~

"希望這兩首歌的並列不會讓你們覺得太傷感," Peggy是這麼說, 全場卻鴉雀無聲...

我覺得Peggy的嗓子有點像青峰, 怎麼說呢, 在台下完全放鬆, 全神灌注地靜靜聆聽着, 真的是一大享受~ 就这样有点放空的状态下听歌, 似乎比较容易受到感动.

美好的时光总是过得特别快... We stayed behind after the encore piece <芭蕾舞者> (我很喜歡這首歌!) to redeem our drink and guess what, Peggy came to mingle with her friends! Oh wells obviously we're not her friends but but but, so exciting, this is not the time to be paiseh, haha. And so we took a photo with her, wheewhee.

瑪莎 came too! Actually, I spotted him when we were queuing at the entrance, but he moved so quickly that I wasn't sure if it was him. Turned out that I was right! :D I was fiddling with my camera when YQ chionged to ask him for a photo, omgomgomg she's so fast! 0_0 Anyway, he declined, cos' I think he's too shabbily dressed, LOL. How come I always bump into 瑪莎 (this is the 2nd time) and not the other 4, why why why.

士林夜市II

We visited 士林夜市 again! Couldn't get enough of the street snacks the other time, so we're backkkk. xD

綜合煎

We decided to try the prawn + oyster omelette instead of the usual oyster one. The Taiwanese oyster omelette is served with sweet sauce and it is more gooey and starchy than the ones we have back home. I'm not a fan of the starchy portions but it's supposedly more Q, they say.

Don't be fooled by my smile cos' I've tasted better ones, haha!

Looks like a normal game stall? Look closer...

New Taiwan dollars hanging on pieces of paper up for grabs! So yoo just aim the toy rifle and shoot until the paper can no longer sustain the weight of the prize. :D 可是不要小看這些白色的紙哦, I can see that they're pretty durable and tough. -__-

碳烤肉串~

We chanced upon this stall accidentally and being typical kiasu Singaporeans, we just had to join in the queue even before checking out what the store was selling, HAHA. :D It's actually a lot (!!!) of spring onions rolled in between a slice of pork and marinated with a special dark sauce (special because I don't know what sauce it is). It smelled heavenly and tasted rather good too, although the amount of spring onions could kill a vampire... 好嗆啊~ 幸好我經常吃芥末, 不然肯定很難過~

'小可愛香腸', 好可愛的名字哦! I had 2 (just 2 mini ones, yes) and they tasted pretty good!

五分埔&饒河夜市

星期五, 我們的第一站是五分埔! Thought I could get my dress at a cheaper price here since it's a wholesale retail area but what a disappointment, 這裡的衣服怎麼越來越貴? No dress for me. :[ :[ :[ In the end, we combed through the sales racks (from NT100!) for better buys, meh meh.

After which, it was my favourite night market-- 饒河夜市! 雖然面積不算大, 只有一條長長的街, 但我就是喜歡它那整齊又有秩序的感覺.

日式大阪燒! 哦, 味道跟以前一樣耶, 每一口都勾起好多台灣的回憶~
